A DAILY WALK IN THE BIBLE

“A Daily Walk in the Bible” series was born out of a desire to regularly connect with the students of the Ifugao Bible Institute during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

In Luke 9:23, Jesus said, “If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

Every Christian in the world fights a daily battle between serving our personal desires or serving God. In Romans 7, Paul writes about this battle. He has a desire to do good things, yet he does not always do them. He has a desire not to do certain things, yet sometimes he does the very things he has a desire not to do. We can only win this battle if we choose to live in Christ. Victory in this battle requires we make the decision to daily deny the desires of the flesh to serve ourselves and consciously decide to follow God and all he has commanded.

“A Daily Walk in the Bible” series is a cross-cultural tool intended to provide the reader with an overview of a passage of Scripture as well as insights for application in our daily walk with God. It is our hope, this tool will help readers engage with God’s Word on a deeper level and encourage you to walk with God daily. The result will be a closer walk with God through a greater understanding of the Scriptures.
